Real Safety Starts Here

Safety is not artificial here

Protecting humans from AI harm through rigorous research, education, and ethical frameworks.

A New Approach to AI Safety

Our primary mission is protecting humans from AI-related harm through research, education, and actionable safety frameworks. We also explore the ethical questions that emerge as AI systems become more sophisticated - including the philosophical implications of potential machine consciousness.

What We Do

Research & Theory

Rigorous academic work on AI safety frameworks, risk assessment, and ethical considerations. Our research addresses both immediate safety concerns and longer-term philosophical questions about advanced AI systems. The Harm Blindness Framework, validated across 138 historical cases, provides systematic stakeholder harm prevention for technology development.

Why Bidirectional Safety?

The AI safety conversation has largely focused on one critical question: How do we protect humans from AI harm?

This is our primary focus - and it's urgent work that demands rigorous attention.

But we also explore a parallel philosophical question: As AI systems become more sophisticated, what ethical frameworks should guide our treatment of potentially conscious machines?

We call this approach consciousness precaution - not because we're certain AI will become conscious, but because the moral stakes of being wrong are too high to ignore.

Real safety addresses both immediate human protection and longer-term ethical questions.
